Photos above are the high resolution images from Amazon I will be attempting to take my own again, the ones I took didn't highlight as well the versatility or quality as the resolution was lower, more to come!
Disclosure: I received this at reduced cost in exchange for my honest opinion.
Having been through two babies, I can definitely attest that a good quality diaper bag is vital. You never really know how much you will pack for a child that is so small until you pack for your first newborn outing. From the extra clothes you will definitely need, food options, diapers, wipes and every other baby essential that you never knew existed before you became a parent. Basically you move every time you try to run an errand that being said not all diaper bags are meant for this level of travel. Many are just open compartments that hold everything and it takes a master in the art of packing to get it all in. When you finally do get everything into the beast, you will almost immediately need the thing you packed at the very bottom and need it with an urgency that you never have before felt. For the parents out there you will know what I mean, you need the green binkie, the only one that baby will ever take and it somehow worked its way from the up top region of the giant duffle of a diaper bag to the bottom under everything. And the battle begins.
For our daughter we had one of these catch all side bag diaper bags and found it was although yes it did what was expected not ideal. Especially for my ex-husband whom wasn't use to carrying a side bag (not a man purse wearer) so we always had two different diaper bags the his bag which was this hap hazard backpack that always was missing things and my overpacked under organized side diaper bag. It was almost a guarantee that didn't have everything we needed in one of the bags or we had to buy two of everything. With our son we made an effort to have a more gender neutral diaper bag adopting the backpack style which turned at the time was just a backpack. Although great for carrying a 100 things it had the same issue as the side bag diaper bags that wasn't as well designed for the purpose we used it for. But, at the time this was the best of both worlds.
Then the sky opened and the world presented me with the Diaper bag backpack from Bag Nation. This high quality gender neutral backpack Diaper bag is gender neutral enough to be worn by everyone, last through two different gender children and was specifically designed for the purpose of being a diaper bag. The Bag Nation Diaper bag has multiple compartments including an outside one for wipes and an inside compartment that holds the changing pad. These compartments are designed to eliminate the problematic "I don't know where anything is in this beast mommy/daddy meltdowns" as well as keep you moderately organized with ease. The outside of it has a waterproof feel and the high quality look that is very nice. The padded straps are very comfortable on your shoulders which is great for new parents running on little sleep and no energy. Any added comfort in the world of sore backs and bodies is a blessing. This is definitely worth the money and one of the gifts that would be highly coveted by both the mom to be and dad. Be a hero this Holiday season and pick one up for someone you know about to become a new parent or for yourself. It's definitely a gift that will be appreciated.
