So I have used kitchen scales before in my many dieting adventures as well as in various different applications that require more to the ounce, gram, pound sort of measurements. In dieting portion control is one of the many mantras so typically weighing the amount of each specific item your adding makes it easier to calculate the total calorie content. Well sometimes I am not as thorough as I'd like to be otherwise I probably wouldn't be dieting all the time, right? Oh well off subject. this scale is an easy to read option for that purpose. With the digital screen that is clear, bright and large enough I don't have to wear my glasses to see it's definitely a bonus. With the holidays coming up I know this will be well utilized when I am trying to measure out the amount of nuts and things for various recipes that call for a half a pound of this or that.
One application I really like this for outside of basic cooking is beer making. I like to measure out my materials before hand so that I can easily toss them in for each step. I like to have good relative measurements as well. The scale says it can go up to 11lbs although for one of my processes I need about 13 it's still far closer than my 5lb max previous one. I like the stylish clean finish of the scale as a unit itself as well as it's ease of clean. Overall I think this is a great option for someone looking to add a scale to their kitchen.
My picture above really does it no justice it's far better silver more like the professional pictures on amazon and linked below. I was in dim lighting when taking the photo.
