So have you ever heard of Skin Brushing? Am I the only person who hasn't? I hope not so I got my google on,
Basically, it's suppose to stimulate the lymphatic system which is part of the circulatory system as well as the immune system to promote health as well as detox, declog the pores and exfoliate the skin. I am not sure about the first but I can see how it would help to exfoliate by brushing off dead skin. That being said I am probably just going to use it for scrubbing my back, but I do like how soft the bristles feel.
Since I will be utilizing it primarily as a shower scrubbing mechanism I was concerned about the roughness of the bristles when wet. They however are super soft but rough enough to do a good job of getting me clean. They provide a nice lather, not that of a shower pouf but more similar to that of a toothbrush, the more you scrub the more bubbles you get. I also like the length, the longer handle allows me to reach over my shoulder and reach all the way to my rear. That being said I also have really long arms so if you are sporting more of a T-rex shape it may not get there, but it is long for anyone with average arms as well. I had my mom demo just to verify.
Overall I would say this is a great product for the market, it's definitely a luxury item of sorts, but cleanliness is pretty important so I can easily justify in my head spending the money to make sure I am fully clean.
