When it comes to cooking, I typically stick with maybe five different variations during the week. I don't really have time to scour the internet for recipes and then typically when I do I forget or don't have the right ingredients so go back to what I know. Well that was until I got the chance to use Meals by the Week. Meals by the Week is a weekly schedule of recipes with instructions as well as a printable list to take with you to the grocery store for the week. As you can see above we have tried the Paleo diet list. This list is actually quite neat, we have always wanted to try to eat on a Paleo diet, but honestly trying to figure out what was okay and not was far beyond our lazy efforts. The Meals by the Week recipe makers create recipes that cater to specific diets, make note of things that are on sale each week when you select which store as well as can cater it to varying family sizes.
The thing I like most about this is that it can easily be changed. After trying the Paleo, if I wanted to go over and change our families diet to a 400 calorie dinner, its as easy as a click away. There really isn't any reason that you wouldn't be able to test things out and get to figure out which dishes your family really likes. I think this is a great tool for working parents as it gives you a plan and you don't have to think too hard, you just relax and go with it.
