Hello new lover! The Prince's Ex by Nadene Seiters introduced me to one of the new leading men in my book harem, Peter. Peter is the handsome barista, and less than likely love interest in the world of Amelia Radley. Peter stole my heart while working hard on Amelia's and I'd love to see how he works his way under yours. Below is my Goodreads review I'd love to be friends on Goodreads, if you haven't used it yet it's a book lovers playground and I can be found playing there many times a week. Check it out & Check out the author Nadene Seiters she definitely can give a swoon worthy read!
The Prince's Ex by Nadene Seiters
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Disclosure: I received this book free in order to give my honest opinion.
Amelia Radley thought she had it all planned out, her boyfriend was Prince she had a job that she was good at even if it wasn't a dream and she had her friend Tina. Then the shoe dropped her Prince became her Ex throwing her for a loop with a hasty end to their relationship without a reason why. Then thirty days later she picks up the paper to find out he is now engaged to someone else. As if that isn't enough her love'm and leave'm friend Tina has big plans for her love life. After a rocky start Amelia has to fight her personal insecurities to get to the place she really needs to be with someone who she can truly love.
First off let me tell you what I love about this story, the characters. Each one of them is developed in a way that give the reader the freedom to imagine them as they will, but enough shape and substance to see them as more than a name on paper. My personal favorite is Tina, she is a secondary character but makes a huge impact on the primary subject which is Amelia, you can feel the friendship and the geninue concern in the way she is describe as well as her carefree attitude. The friendship between Amelia and Tina is a definite highlight of the story.
Secondly, I love the curve near the end, I won't spoil it for the readers but it was nice to see it was more realistic than fairytale even if it did literally have a prince in it. This was a one day read, quick and fun worth the time spent. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to feel good when they finish reading.
