When it comes to my children they really are the moon and stars in my universe. That being said, I couldn't imagine a more unique way to show them how much I love them than by naming a star after them. I was fortunate to be able to do this review and in that I got the chance to dedicate this one to here.
With the purchase of each star you get the opportunity to name it however you would like, and write a personalized message. That star coordinate can then be plugged into google sky/earth and be brought up on a screen for you to show your loved one. For us this was a "two-fer" not only did we get the opportunity to show lily how much we love her, but we also get an opportunity to introduce her to a little bit of astronomy. We opted to do this one for Lily, since she is big enough to get excited, but we will be naming one for Luke as well in the near future. I love the idea of writing their names in the sky.
One of the things I like the most about this name a star opportunity is the ability to leave a comment. Many other companies offer you a chance to name a star, but few offer the opportunity to have a personalized message. For us, the price was just right too at 12.99 its a super reasonable price, you could literally name the sky at that price! I think this going to be a regular gift item for us, as there are so many people that we love and we know would love this as a gift. Speaking of gifts have you thought about Valentine's Day yet?
As a Valentine's Day gift this would be a super romantic gesture, with the personalize message your love could be floored by thoughtfulness as well as the knowledge that you literally wrote their name in the sky! I am sucker for this sort of romance, and I know that many of my friends are as well.
