When it comes to foundation make up for my face, the lighter the better and I am not speaking of the color. I prefer to use powder, I feel as though it keeps the natural coloration of my skin, but covers up the blemishes and occasional patches of red. When given the chance to review Ageless Derma Natural Loose Mineral Foundation, I knew it might be something that would be inline with my personal preferences. I was in fact right about that. The Loose Mineral foundation color I am reviewing is called “Iced Coffee”, originally it looked as though it would be a perfect match for my skin, however it was slightly darker than my skin, but not enough for it to look “off” on me. As you can see by the photo of my hand above it applies to a beautiful gold color.
It is so light that when I apply it to my face it gives a sort of “bronzing” effect, so I have no complaints on that coloration at all. The texture of it is very light and smooth when applied. I personally used a make-up brush to apply, which I suspect is the typical way to apply it, which is contrast to my typical powered which is done by pad. The light powder is packaged so that it doesn’t end up pressed, but you also don’t end up with too much at any given time. It’s a great for quick application. I think the packaging also allowed it to be applied lightly giving an airbrushed look. It also was very smooth and silky on my skin.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
