Disclosure: I got this book using my Kindle Direct account. Which at 9.99 a month is a great deal for a heavy reader like myself. I am posting a review to get on the ARC list for Viola Rivard, however I read all her books because I enjoy reading her writing not because I am getting added to the list. I am posting the review however with 100% my own opinion so that I can be on her list! Also at 0.99 each these bad boys are a sweet deal!
Choices by Viola Rivard
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
So my Kindle Direct is getting some major mileage because of my addiction to the writings of Viola Rivard. Last night I snatched up Choices and read the whole thing in about an hour and half. I couldn't put it down. That also resulted in my rereading of both Running with the Alphas 1 & 2. I can't help but fall in love with the way she brings heat to the world of shifters. She has a unique perspective and although seperate stories she is building a bigger world through her other books such as Claimed by the Alphas & Bound to the Alpha. I definitely recommend if you want to read some steamy shifter romance to dive right in!

I am a light sleeper, unfortunately more so for light than sound so when I get the chance to use a mask I definitely enjoy a more restful night. Typically I use a cheap mask that comes with a bath spa kit that I got a few years ago for christmas, well at least up until I got this mask. The Luxury Sleep Mask from Dream Essentials is definitely leaps and bounds above the glorified eye patch basic mask. The broad coverage of your eye sockets as well as the wrap around that covers all the way to the ear keeps the light from filtering through into your eyes as you turn. The large strap cradles your head to an even pressure so that you don't feel like the band is digging into your scalp all night. The mask includes a sleep serum, which seemed to smell nice. I can't attest for if it added much to the sleep experience, but the ear plugs that came with removed a good portion of the sound. I utilized the set for a mid day nap with kids running around like wild banshees and was able to sleep so that in itself was a golden selling point for any parent I know.

We are lemon loving people, we genuinely enjoy the tart flavor so we use them quite a bit. That being said it sucks to squeeze all the juice out of one let alone three or four which is what it takes for some of the recipes I try. I was sent the professional lemon squeezer from Kitchen Frontier to try out and see if it's worth it for my readers. I can honestly say if you use lemon regularly this is definitely the worth it. I used it to squeeze out a few and it did it's job with quite well.
The Lemon squeezer from Kitchen Frontier is quite robust and feels built to last. With the heavy quality metal and solid feel there is nothing flimsy about it. I believe it's one of those kitchen tools that you buy once so buying one of this quality will ensure that it lasts. I could definitely see this getting a ton of use for margaritas in the future or for my lemon brownie recipe.

Our house is definitely a Hello Kitty house. From the sunglasses I wear to about 50% of my daughters wardrobe Hello Kitty definitely makes an appearance in our daily lives. That being said when given the opportunity to review the Hello Kitty Mouth Rinse and Ready Go Brush by Firefly I was excited. Okay, so they aren't something I could review, but my personal little review Lily has been gracious enough to try them out and express her opinions to me.
So, most of her opinions are centered around the appearance and to say the least she loves them. The Mouth Rinse specifically is her favorite due to the oversized Hello Kitty on the top. For me however, I love the fact it has a little cup in the bottom. It is perfect to portion out a little bit for the kids and the pump makes it easy enough they can do it themselves. The flavor is a melon kiss flavor and the kids definitely seem to enjoy it as they request to do it several times a day. As a mom this sounds great to me, I mean seriously how often do kids request for oral care?
This is now available at Walmart and at less than 4.00 is definitely worth putting into an oral care routine.
The Ready Go Brush is awesome, the start button lights up the bottom green indicating to the child that it's time to brush. They keep brushing until it goes through the yellow light and ends on the red. It takes a total of 1 minute which really seemed to help Lily to continue her brushing. She loves the color and the picture on her toothbrush as well as the lights. I really like that it stands up on it's own, and that at less than 4.00 it's reasonably priced enough to buy a new one every few months.
If your interested in finding out more about either of these products head over to Fireflytoothbrush.com. They offer a ton of different fun styles that make toothbrushes fun for kids so maybe they won't resist quite as much.

Are you pregnant? Or did you recently have a baby? If so then you can attest that there is nothing that changes your skin more than the hormones associated with being pregnant. I mean seriously, I looked like a pizza face with my daughter. The hormonal change seemed to make my face super greasy and broke out all around like I was constantly on my period. For someone who rarely breaks out this was to say the least a bit traumatizing. But, I was also so sensitive to smells that I couldn't use typical face washes. So I suffered through my pregnancy looking a fright. That being said, had I had the chance to try Belli Pregnancy Safe Skin care line, I may have been able to curve some of my pregnancy induced skin issues.
Since, I am no longer pregnant the only time my skin breaks out now is when my period is due. So that is when I started using the Belli Pre-treatment scrub and Anti-Blemish facial wash. My first impression was that the smell was light and pleasant. I didn't find it to smell chemically offensive in any way, which would be very important for a prego nose. I also noticed that it did in fact give the mild tingle when using that I associate with cleaning as well as left my skin feeling so soft afterwards. I also very much enjoyed the fact that it seemed to both reduce the swelling around the zits that were present. As I used it more I did notice that my skin was softer and reduced the number of zits present.
The thing I think is the key benefit of Belli Skincare product line however is that it's allergy tested, there are no artificial dyes or fragrances, no phthalates, no paraben preservatives, it is not tested on animals. I know with all the things we are exposed to in food and in daily living while pregnant if as a mother I can reduce additional toxins from entering my body during pregnancy it's important.

When it comes to men Jax the sexy rocker god, is as bad as they come. But, one song in Riley's body is aching to touch him. His siren like melody draws her and every other woman in the room to him like flies to honey. The almost one night stand with Jax is enough to drive her wild so when she starts her first day as a rock show accountant turns out to be for Jax's band it definitely leads to some sexual tension.
Overall I really enjoyed this book. Both the writing style and the visual images and overall storyline. The love story is that of a epic proportions. The story however does leave off on one helluva cliffhanger, so if your like me and are wrapped up in the characters it can lead to many nights making up stories to continue... however fortunately the second book comes out in September 2014 so you won't have to wait too long!! I am going to be anxiously awaiting the release so I can spend another afternoon with Riley & Jax.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves romance novels.
