Disclosure: I received the BodyHonee Spa Kit in order to give my honest opinion.
Note: I included an image of the package, but not of the waxed region I tried because well honestly read below and you will know why. Awkward just saying.
Waxing may be the worst type of torture I have yet to experience in my life. Before I go into detail let me first tell you what I personally did wrong to add to this train wreck of a wax job I did to myself. One I did not have a spotter, with every heavy lifting sort of scenario you have a partner someone to help you when things are a little to "hairy" to handle on your own. (pun intended) I however thought hey I can do this home waxing thing solo I am a strong independent woman, yeah I got this. Secondly, what I did wrong was I went for advanced level waxing region straight out of the gate. Yeah, I tried my bikini region.... well to say the least I probably had a better chance of running a marathon without training that completing a bikini wax by myself well.
Now let me tell you my personal horror story, so I read the instructions. Heat, don't boil, apply thin layer, press waxing pads on press, pull skin taut and pull against the grain of the hair growth. Easy peasy right? Well no actually it's really not. On my legs oh yeah easy enough, stings a bit not to bad. On my bikini region the angles and the lack of a third hand to pull the skin tight proved to be an utter sticky mess of splotchy agony. However, despite the first pass putting tears in my eyes I soldiered on. I was not going to be defeated by hair, I had spent several weeks growing it out to make sure I could wax it properly and I was going to win. Well 30 minutes and far more escaped tears than I want to admit. I threw in the towel. The hair had won. I ended up utilizing my razor to salvage what remained of the bikini region. I have now decided that for all other regions self-waxing is not only possible, but extremely cost effective, however for the bikini region it's team effort 100% of the time. If I shall ever attempt to wax my lady bits region again I shall only do so with a friend or a licensed wax genius.
Since I told you my ugly truth of bikini region self waxing, I need to state I do not blame the kit or the wax. The kit actually had everything I could possibly need including after waxing oily wipes, which soothed the burning and gave relief. It comes with enough wax to wax a small bear as well as two application sticks and plenty of strips. My only possible recommendation is to trim the strips according to the size of the region your using it on.
The wax smelled very pleasant and overall was very effective, I don't doubt in anyway it would ever not fulfill its purpose 100%. If you are looking to wax non-shaven or finer hair possibly look into the Sugaring kit from BodyHonee their site will lead you to fit your needs.
I would love to hear any advice for potentially trying again or your own horror stories if you have any.

I am looking forward to gifting this to a family friend her baby is very shortly and the colors are so cute. She is having a little girl, but the color is so gender neutral that it will work for either just in case she turns out secretly to be a he. Weirder things have happened. So first thing I look for when I am looking for something to go on a baby is the texture. Babies have the softest skin so I like to make sure the material on it is just as soft. I took them out of the packaging to feel the texture they are soft and have similar texture to most swaddle blankets with an edge of silkiness to them. They however are 100% cotton which is super breathable and warm which is ideal.
The colors are vibrant and the wraps are super useful. With my daughter I had sleep sacks, but I noticed they were tight enough around the feet so for the little tiny babies they didn't feel as secure so I ended up opting to use a tightly wrapped blanket instead. These will however wrap and be tight enough just as well as any blanket but a lot more efficiently. I love the pattern, size and for the price 3 is great.

So we are becoming major fans of legos in our household and I am also becoming increasingly aware of the cost of lego sets. Ranging from about five bucks to hundreds they can really add up quickly. But the complicated sets aren't being used for the designed purposes for the most part of we lose pieces and all of a sudden it becomes a tower or a house instead of whatever it was suppose to be. So when give the chance to gift them 1000 individual bulk bricks I thought this is awesome. I can give them the bricks they can build and ta da there imaginations can go wild. They come in a bulk bag which isn't ideal for gifting however when you open them you can easily buy a lego container fill it with the bulk blocks wrap it up and ta da your little engineers will be stoked. Don't miss out on getting this cost effective gift for your lego lovers. At a fraction of the cost you don't lose out on a minute of the fun.

So when I first saw this I expected the giant one from the movie big and figured oh crud where am I going to put something that big. However when it arrived I found Homeco's version of Gigantic is actually about the size of a couch so it's perfect for my house. We tried it out a bit and I have to say it's pretty awesome. Key things I as a parent love, the Volume control is easily adjusted so when it's time to quiet it down or the same key is driving my eye to twitch the kids have no excuse when I ask them to turn it down. It has 24 keys so there is no excuse why two kids can't make music on it together, which is also a vital in my house. It has 8 different musical instruments to play as well which gives variety to the sounds they can produce. It has automatic on/off so when the kids forget it on and go to bed they won't wake up the house on their way to the bathroom at night. I also like that it only requires 4-AA batteries, that's a great cost saver too. Overall I think this is a great gift and will be so much fun for the kids. On the parent annoyance level of toys I would say this is less than a Furby but more so than a ball.
The quality is there and the level of excitement over the gift will definitely be there. If you play piano it definitely won't replace your a piano but it could make a fun game of learning with you little ones.

When we first received this we weren't able to get it to work. I was really confused, but I realized quickly I had to use brand new batteries. So if you plan on gifting it make sure that you include some new batteries. If it makes an eeeee.... noise the batteries are dead try new and tada magic it works. Once it's in operation it is a great addition to any little musicians play area. In terms of size it's perfect for a 2 year old and is fun for kids even older. The little stool won't s upport more than about 30lbs maybe 40 if you push it. I like the multiple music modes that give them the chance to try to play along with the music. The keyboard itself seems to work well each key makes sound depending on the mode it's different. The microphone is a great addition so they can practice their singing which will serve for hours of Youtube adorableness. This is probably not going to turn your little one into a musical savant but it may put the music bug in their system. Research says that arts help your kids learn so getting them started early is a great way to have a good foundation.

Are you looking for something for the ultimate dog lover in your family? Or for the fur-baby in your household? If so I would highly recommend the Bark Collar by Our K9. The vibration collar is designed to give eight different corrections in order to reduce the amount of barking that your dog does. This is ideal for those of us whom work during the day and have no idea what our dogs are really up to. Or for those looking to find a way to keep them quieter when guests/deliveries arrive. At under 10$ right now savings of over 70$ this is the time to buy this gift before the 3 day sale ends and the price goes up. Below I have my review and the link is above if you want to check it out.
I have barkers, they yep they bark any noise and they are "dog chatting" up a storm. That being said I don't believe in shock collars and I am not home enough to do an extensive whistle based training. As a matter of fact even if I was I highly doubt I have the patience for it. I have two Chi-weenies, one that is a little fatter than the other, but both are on the smaller chi side. The band didn't quite go tight enough to fit like a normal collar would, however it did work extremely effectively. Even with it loose, it served as a dog version of scared straight without ever having to vibrate. I am honestly not even sure how intense the vibration is because the dogs never made it past the initial warning. The "warning" beep scared both my dogs well enough they stayed quiet and wouldn't bark. They would look around as if they were confused as to what just happened. I am not sure if this is just due to the novelty of the beeping sound when they bark or if they aren't use to having any reprimand other than my yelling? I sometimes think that when they bark and I tell them to quiet down they think I am secretly singing with them so they bark louder. The collar however instantly stopped the barking. Since the size at minimum is still something they can take off I will only have the bigger one wear it for as long as he is willing. It's not easy for him to take off which is a bonus, however it's definitely possible.
Let me describe what you actually receive, you get the collar the battery required, two sets of covers of various lengths for vibration pegs. The longer pegs is what I tried and it was still big, but I do have two very small dogs. If you however, have a more persistent barker, I can imagine that it will actually make it to the vibration stage. I never use shock collars on my dogs so I am not sure how effective vibrations will be relative to it, but I am certain it will cause less pain. I personally like the various levels of correction too. I figured my dogs will learn to test this as they will get use to the warning sound, but the gradual increase in correction should at least keep them confused until they realize that I don't want them "singing" every time the doorbell rings. With the ease of up and down buttons you can increase or decrease the vibration strength, so the 8 different settings is expanded and hopefully if you have a less stubborn dog it should work to stop the unnecessary barking.
Disclosure: I received a Royal Scarf in exchange for my honest review and hosting the giveaway for the a scarf for my readers.
When it comes to the holidays gifts are amazing, but it really is the joy you see on the peoples faces that makes it worth all the time, money and effort you put into them. I received this handcrafted Royal Scarf from the World Vision Catalog to review and I know exactly whom I am going to gift it to. Although, I would like to keep it I know that I would rarely wear and it's so beautiful it needs to be worn. That being said I am not going to share whom I am going to gift it to incase they are reading, but I will say this I know that she will love it. She will love the silk and more so she will love the fact that by receiving this she will know that Vietnamese Ma Chau villagers will have an opportunity to raise money for their children.

These are the perfect sized pots for the standard garden needs. These will happily hold most plant types without need to further transfer them to another growth pot. I love that the pots are made using recycled material so that when I am attempting to go green, I can also help the environment. These pots are also made in the US which is a huge thing for the economy and a huge thing to me as a consumer. How often do you have the opportunity to purchase items manufactured in the US and are utilizing recycled materials. My plan for these pots is to plant my smaller growth plants such as peppers and eggplant plants. I am looking forward to this coming spring where I shall have them in a stacked pattern. I like that it comes in packs of 10 as I want to plant multiple of each plant.
