Are you pregnant? Or did you recently have a baby? If so then you can attest that there is nothing that changes your skin more than the hormones associated with being pregnant. I mean seriously, I looked like a pizza face with my daughter. The hormonal change seemed to make my face super greasy and broke out all around like I was constantly on my period. For someone who rarely breaks out this was to say the least a bit traumatizing. But, I was also so sensitive to smells that I couldn't use typical face washes. So I suffered through my pregnancy looking a fright. That being said, had I had the chance to try Belli Pregnancy Safe Skin care line, I may have been able to curve some of my pregnancy induced skin issues.
Since, I am no longer pregnant the only time my skin breaks out now is when my period is due. So that is when I started using the Belli Pre-treatment scrub and Anti-Blemish facial wash. My first impression was that the smell was light and pleasant. I didn't find it to smell chemically offensive in any way, which would be very important for a prego nose. I also noticed that it did in fact give the mild tingle when using that I associate with cleaning as well as left my skin feeling so soft afterwards. I also very much enjoyed the fact that it seemed to both reduce the swelling around the zits that were present. As I used it more I did notice that my skin was softer and reduced the number of zits present.
The thing I think is the key benefit of Belli Skincare product line however is that it's allergy tested, there are no artificial dyes or fragrances, no phthalates, no paraben preservatives, it is not tested on animals. I know with all the things we are exposed to in food and in daily living while pregnant if as a mother I can reduce additional toxins from entering my body during pregnancy it's important.

Disclosure: I received these three products from Zim’s® in order to review them, no other compensation was received and the opinions are 100% my own.
As many of you know I have recently been training for a 5k race, that being said along with training comes sore muscles, so when given the opportunity to try out Zim’s® Arnica Max Freeze I thought sure thing. Zim's Arnica Max is designed specfically for sore muscles, sprains, arthritis and bruises. The first thing I noticed about the product after application was that it felt like a traditional lotion. I didn't leave my skin greasy and had a very faint smell that didn't give off the pungent odor of other creams with the same purpose. However, what matters is that after about 15 minutes I no longer noticed the soreness I was having. So, it's my opinion that Zim's Arnica Max is an effective product at least for pain from working out.
Another product Zim's sent me to try was the Zim's Advanced Crack Creme. One of the key features I noticed with it is that it's organic and contains both Aloe and Hydrocortizone. My daughter has a rash from her thighs rubbing when she wears short shorts or skirts. She still has that baby fat at four so I like to put a cream on it when they chafe a little. I put on the Crack Creme and it seemed to heal up well. The main thing I noticed was the lack of reaction in her, many types of cortizone creams have a bit of a sting to them this one however didn't which is great. It allows me to put it on without her fighting me. Another win in my book.
The final product they sent me to review was the Zim's Advanced Gel with Acemannan which is designed to help treat cuts, scrapes and abrasions. This gel although I accidently put it on an irritated rash and it burned like the dickens within about a day the rash was gone,so it seemed to work. When I put it on a scrape there was a minor sting, but nothing too bad.

Skin is meant to be a youthful expression of yourself and with all the wear and tear we put it through no wonder it can wrinkle and change colors from what it once was. If you have ever used any anti-aging products than you know they all claim to work wonders. That being said, Perfective Ceuticals Divine Age Guardian Cream does as well, so when I was given the review I was more than moderately skeptical. Lotion is lotion right? Well no, I guess it's not. The specific differences between Perfective Ceuticals Divine Age Guardian Cream and others are that they include a proprietary mix of Epidermal Growth Factor, Matrixyl, Omega 3-6-9 and Ginseng Extract that is specifically designed to hydrate lift and tone skin.
Okay yes, I did just quote what they have it in, now let's break that down on what it means for us as the consumer. Epidermal Growth factor stimulates cell growth and proliferation (spread) in other words it makes you grow more skin cells, which is good new skin cells yay! Matrixyl? Yep, had to google this bad boy because it feels like a gobblygook word bascially its a peptide that stimulates the synthesis of collagen and skin repair. Okay so another good thing to put on your face. Next up is the Omega 3-6-9, well that is an essential fatty acid, which has a ton of benefits (google it). And lastly, Ginseng Extract according to the web it brightens skin.
So with all those benefits in the recipe I had to try it, but at 30 and a baby face my face isn't exactly a great place for me to get any drastic results. Yet, that is yet. Give me 10 years and we will see, or maybe we won't if I keep using this cream.
