I suffer from work on my computer too much disorder... okay so no that isn't really a thing but there are several ailments you can get from working in the incorrect position too long such as Carpal tunnel syndrome and various other issues. That being said the typical design of keyboards that aren't specifically ergonomically positioned isn't ideal for good hand, wrist and arm help. That is where wrist rests come into play. In the past it was very important to my employer to ensure we all were working in the least "ergonomically" strenuous way by providing us with wrist rests typically of gel or other materials. I have since changed jobs to a location that is less concerned, but having been accustomed to having a wrist rest I definitely missed mine. My previous wrist rest was a gel like material, when I first put my wrists down it was cold and after time it would spread so I wouldn't be able to keep my wrist in the same place too long. The memory foam keyboard cushion I am reviewing from Cushioncare actually doesn't seem to have those issues. When I put my wrists down the smooth material is room temperature with enough give to cradle my wrist yet not so much that literally slides out of the way. I very much like the bonus mouse pad with cushion and overall I am fan of the set.
