Disclosure: I received this in exchange for my honest opinion.
So I babysit my niece regularly, she is quite a chunky baby and holding her is cumbersome to say the least especially for long periods of time. We like to let her crawl around, but with our dog and her having this battle of wits as of late with her and her baby hulk hands hurting the dog I have found it's almost easier to just bear the weight. So when I was offered the baby sling wrap to try I thought this might be just the solution I was looking for. And honestly it was, I was able to do chores in other rooms as well as keep her entertained. When she was ready to nap I was able to keep on moving while she slept. Overall, it was a great solution to my babysitting needs.
Now let me tell you a bit about the Wrap sling itself. So it's a heavy duty 100% cotton, but it almost felt like a smooth canvas material. It was that sturdy, yet flexible. The embroidery is really nice and definitely unisex, with a slightly feminine flare. It was extremely easy to put on and figure out. Step 1 tie around waist or hip region depending on how high you want the baby relative to your face or on your back. Step 2 load baby in orientation of desire we typically load Reagan on the front since she wants to chat with you (although non vocal it's still a hoot to chat with her facial expressions). Step 3 tie the shoulder straps up over and around and tada baby locked and loaded for a day. The weight distribution is good too, not focusing all 20lbs of my niece on my shoulders but distributing it throughout my center better than any backpack has. The pads on the shoulder help too very much.
For the cost this is a great option for parents who have a little one and others babysit them often you could buy a couple leave one in the car and one at aunties etc. So that everyone has an option without having to splurge on the more expensive other options they have.
