So if you don't know I am all about saving money, that doesn't just mean I store up 2 years worth of laundry soap when it's on sale. I also have been trying my hand at gardening over the last few months with a whole lot of help from my friend Brad! Shout out to Brad and his amazing garden. So when given the opportunity to review pots I thought what a great way to incorporate the love of gardening into my other passion blogging. Above I have a video of the garden and my planned usage for the pots below. I plan to use them for a larger version of floating lettuce bath that you can see in the video. Although the pots featured are not the ones from Pandapots you can definitely get the idea. Key differences between the ones from Pandapots and the ones featured are the ones featured are not full pots they are vented all the way around which is was fine, but I'd like to try to go bigger and don't need it so would like to try do it without. I will update this post in about 30 days after the attempt and let you know how they do.
So first thing that I noticed was that the pots are stacked into stacks of 15 side by side and bagged which was great packaging for shipping. They all seem to be solid no damage or cracking in any of them. They are a great size for my pending herb garden project as well as for individual planting of lettuces and other greens for immediate harvest and use. Each pot has eight irrigation holes in the bottom of them to allow for proper draining, they are slightly larger in diameter than a standard pencil. I think this will be more than adequate for my intents and purposes, but we will see.
These pots are a great option for starting plants you intend to transplant. They wouldn't be ideal for plants such as squash and tomatoes due to the relative size of the plants produced in my personal opinion. So if that is your goal you need to look a few sizes bigger. If you are looking to grow individual flowers for gardening purpose I would also recommend these pots.
Not to forget to mention they are made in the USA so it helps bring businesses back to the US in manufacturing which is definitely something that is needed. Overall, I am recommending these pots for their individual quality, ease of purchase and they are a US made product. Below is an image of the high quality pots and if you have any questions please feel free to leave it in the comments, also any recommendations for the potential of this size pot I'd love to hear it!
