So as many of you know I have a 18 month old son, what many of you don't know is that he is a bit on the clingy side, but it's extremely directed to the apple of his eye mommy. Unlike, daddy I don't have the strength to carry him for hours and he isn't strong enough to hang off of my side like a little monkey. We have another carrier that can be worn in the front or the back, but it gets super hot, super quickly when wearing him. One of the first things I noticed about the SUPPORi baby sling was that it is a net material so it doesn't build up the heat. As well as it is super easy to carry around with you as it rolls up and fits easily in even a jacket pocket or a purse easily.
We walked around our local flea market on Sunday and during that time we alternated from carrying Luke in the SUPPORi and pushing him in the stroller. I found the SUPPORi did not get hot while wearing him and provided him with ample support while riding up high on my hip. By alternating the weight distribution across my body made it very easy to carry Luke whereas normally it is a bit heavy after a while. I really like the style as well. In many gender neutral colors the SUPPORi baby sling, is something that my husband would be willing to wear and still look masculine. Nothing is more handsome to me than my husband carrying one of our babies.
I also liked that I can be hands free for a second and he isn't going to fall out, not that I am saying it's hands free as that is definitely not the case, but I can remove my hands from time to time with confidence. Luke seemed perfectly comfortable in sling it hanging off of mommy like a little monkey.
