The Millionaire Affair by Jessica Lemmon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Disclosure: I got this book as an ARC from Netgalley.
When it comes to love Landon Downey has a zero tolerance policy. His heart was destroyed by his college girlfriend and he will not open himself up again. That however isn't what fate has in store for him. When his brother needs him to watch his six year old nephew for a week the Millionaire Ad exec can't put his life completely hold so he employs a friend of the family Kimber Reynolds. Kimber had a secret crush on Landon from the time they were young and still can't resist his many charms. But, Kimber falls hard and fast and holds on to sinking relationships so she just wants a love'em and leave'em good time with Landon, until no strings get a bit tangled.
I like this book, the fast paced read is a great stormy afternoon read. The flesh of the relationship between Landon and Kimber is solid with very little left to the imagination if you know what I mean "wink wink". The self created complications within the storyline are extremely believable and the millionaire aspect only enhances the story line, it doesn't have the bigger than reality that many other stories do. I really enjoyed the fact that it was realistic but fantasy.
