When it comes to Disney you really can't be disappointed, especially when it literally comes to your town. With minimal travel you can get a quick Disney fix at any Disney on Ice show, but the Frozen show starts out with pretty much every Disney character in a musical number ranging from the traditional Mickey Minnie duo to Timon and Pumba. Having only recently un-vaulted the Lion King and a few other older favorites this was a real thrill.
After the music lifted us higher, if you attend you will get the reference we were transported to Arendale to build Olaf with our favorite Disney sisters Elsa and Anna. The first song is a family favorite, "Do you want to build a Snowman". Once the crowd died down from excitement the skaters did a great job.
Following along with the movie each section covers all the big musical numbers and exciting moments. From Anna and Cristoff finding Elsa to Let it go. Each musical number featured really colorful costumes and an entire audience singing along. As much as the show on the ice was exciting I personally couldn't help watching the kids having a ball.
If you haven't made a decision on whether to attend one of the many performances before it leaves Sleep Train Arena, I would highly recommend it. I know all the kids had a blast and more often than not I saw parents singing along too. Follow me on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter to see some short videos of opening night! It was a thrill and I know it will be just enough to get your little Frozen enthusiasts excited. Here's a list below of the upcoming shows and times!
